Today's STS Cover-up Outfit

Today I felt like wearing the new Walmart skirt. So, I have a STS in beige and olive green, the new Walmart skirt, my old JC Penny Worthington olive jacket, Mudd "Critical" wedges, and an inexpensive bag from my store.

Today's Running Errands Outfit

I did not do much today. Just went to the bank. This is a very comfy periwinkle and white top, with a pair of Old Navy black wash skinny jeans, and my Splash, beaded black ballet flats. I took two pictures since I cut my head off the first time!

Walmart Gift Card Purchases

This print skirt will go with so many things I already own in my closet. The colors are chocolate brown, olive, purple, white and beige. It will be a nice summer/fall transition skirt.

This blue and black skirt is cut the same as the skirt above. It is a teal blue and black print. The close up gives you a better view of the print, and the far away gives you a better idea of the color. Again, this will combine nicely with so many things that I already own. Like the items in that soft blue color that I got a while back. I can think of at least 10 outfits that I can do with this skirt.

These great faux wrap dresses still looked like they needed a little something to me. So I went to the area with the sale jewelery and picked out these two brooches to further cinch and accent my waist in the dresses. Two dresses and two pins later, I was only down about $40.00

The top dress is a red, black and white print and the bottom is black white and blues. Sort of some blue grey affect there too, I think.

This choclate brown top looks really great on. I was hoping that they had a whole bunch of colors, because I would have bought duplicates. But, no. Only this color. I love the feel of this silk and cotton skirt. I have two things to take back, and I think that I will exchange for another of these skirts. They also have it in a calico print.
The red dress that I already posted a link to, I forgot to take a picture of it. I bought a black and white dress like it. In a medium, instead of a small. It did not fit nice, and the print did not look right. It was just weird, so that is one of the things going back. I have also decided that the long shorts do not fit me or flatter me either. So, it will be exchanged for a skirt and maybe something else.
I know that all of these pieces will be able to be mixed and matched with so many things that I aleady own. I really wish that I did not have two months of Stupid T shirt wearing!

A couple of pairs of the new shoes.

White Mtn. White sandals.

Splash, beaded black ballet flats.

I tried something new with my make up today. I did NYC navy eyeliner. Cover Girl mascara. It is a little thicker than the CG I bought last time. An Eye Brightener by Physicians Formula, and a quad of eyeshadows by Bonnie Bell, I think. White/sliver, grey/silver, light brown, and charcoal grey.

My beachy cover up outfit. I have been living in it because it is so comfy. Belt comes of for no shape, but supreme comfort. 97 degrees out today. No belt and no shrug. But a string of pearls. This is the outfit I rode down in the car with, and the dress I wore sans belt to drive down to the wedding.

For the Men In Black fans. I love that movie!

Close up of my make up, for you girls that wear it all the time. Hope I did good!

Okay me in total WNTW mode!!! I got soo hot, I bought a brown Stevie Knicks hippy skirt. I cannot even tell you, I was melting, and areas were hot and chaffing, I will stop there, but lemme tell you about hot and really uncomfortable.

My niece got this dress in Chinatown, we went to canal street too. I did not buy any fake bags or anything. I did get the skirt in chinatown. We did not pay what they asked, half we paid, you have to negotiate.
I also got three "100% pashminas", for $10. Love the colors, olive green, red and shocking pink.

Dancin' fools! I have to tell you I loved the tiered dress, she was very pregnant, and very beautiful.

The violet dress with bubble hem was absolutely beautiful, I would try that dress on.

All of these dresses were gorgeous too. On the whole WTW all around.
